The amazing Paul McCartney has found listings of all the Lalaloopsy Girls on Amazon.com! Click on any image to see the (Currently Unavailable) dolls on Amazon.
Jewel Sparkles, Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff, Bea Spells-A-Lot, and Pix E. Flutters all come with their regular outfits, plus pajamas, their pet, a comb, two tiny doll hair clips and one large, people sized hair clip. If you look at the top picture, you can see that the large hair clip is actually the box handle!
The four dolls that come with pjs also have color changing hair! Their curly puffs or braids will turn two toned, I’m assuming with water? Bea is the only doll so far who seems to already have two toned hair to start with.
Pix E. Flutters still has her wings, and I have to say, I just LOVE that all of these dolls have different shoes! Their hair accessories are all fairly different, as well. I have to say bravo to MGA for not using all exactly the same “head bow OR pigtails” look that they started the original Lalaloopsy line with. Even though four of them have bows to the side, all the bows are really different in shape, size, and color.
Spot Splatter Splash, Crumbs Sugar Cookie, and Peanut Big Top only come with the outfit they’re wearing, plus their pet and a comb. Since no PJs or barrettes are in these packs, they’re probably going to be less expensive.
I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with all of the dresses, adorable and unique interpretations of their original (or childhood?) outfits. There isn’t a single aspect of these dolls that looks the same, except for the little plastic combs that come with all of them (in different colors).
I just love the Lalaloopsy Girls! They’re stylish and cute without being hyper sexualized or wearing clothes most parents would not find suitable for a child. Their dainty features are still button eyes and rosy cheeks, although the tiny heart lips are a little weird. It would be great if some of the dolls were more clearly not wearing makeup, although it’s a fairly small complaint for what I think is going to be a hugely popular and successful doll. Way to go, MGA! All I can ask for now are outfits with pants and some Lalaloopsy Boys!
